    Hawaiian Pot Luck Picnic

    11am - 3:30pm

Summit Rock in Central Park NYC

Use the 85th Street entrance to the park. Keep right on the path until you see the lamppost sign "Summit Rock" then go up the hill.

690x380-Hawaii-Sunset-with-Hula-DancerStarted over 20 years ago by members of the local Hawaiian community to celebrate May Day, the annual Central Park Picnic brings together over 300 people from the Hawaiian community together each year on the first Sunday of June in a Hawaiian style potluck with ono food, kanikapila Hawaiian music and hula. Everyone is invited to dance hula or play some Hawaiian music so bring your mele, hula and instruments. There will be a CD player and some battery-powered amplifiers available. It's a potluck so bring your favorite local dish to share and your own non-alcoholic beverages as well as trash bags for clean-up.

Use the 85th Street entrance to the park. Keep right on the path until you see the lamppost sign "Summit Rock" then go up the hill.
